Item Beyaz Yeni Zelanda, Kaliforniya, ve Şinşilla ırkı tavşanlarda ürenin değerlendirilmesi üzerine bir araştırma(Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, 1995) Demirel, Ramazan; Çalışkaner, ŞahibeBu araştırmada Beyaz, Yeni Zelanda, Kaliforniya ve Şinşilla ırkı tavşanlarda yüksek ham protein (% 20); düşük ham protein (% 16) ve % 1.4 üre katılarak nitrojen düzeyi yükseltilmiş (% 16 ham protein + % 1.4 üre) rasyonların; canlı ağırlık, canlı ağırlık artışı, yem tüketimi, yem değerlendirme sayısı; karaciğer, kalp, böbrek, abdominal yağ, sekum, karkas ve post ağırlıkları, karkas randımanı, sekum pH'sı ile karkas kalitesine ilişkin but, sırt ve bel bölgesindeki ette ham besin maddesi miktarları; kan serumunda üre, total protein, kolesterol ve kreatinin değerleri üzerine etkileri araştırılmıştır. Deneme; her ırktan 8 haftalık yaşta sütten kesilmiş 36 adet tavşamn (18 erkek + 18 dişi) herbiri 3 tekerrürden oluşan 3 rasyon grubuna, faktöriyel düzende tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre dağıtılarak kurulmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; 6 haftalık besleme döneminde düşük protein içeren rasyona % 1.4 düzeyinde üre katıldığında; canlı ağırlık, yem tüketimi, yem değerlendirme sayısı ve yem maliyetinde önemli bir değişiklik olmamış; ancak bazı organ ağırlıklarında, kan parametrelerinde ve ette saptanan ham besin maddesi miktarlarında farklı ırklarda ve farklı rasyonlarda önemli farklılıklar tesbit edilmiştir (P<0.05).Abstract In this research, the utilization of urea by New Zealand White, Chinchilla and California breed rabbits were examined using high protein level (20 % crude protein), low protein level (16 % crude protein) and low protein supplemented with 1.4 % urea (16 % crude protein + 1.4 % urea). Live weight, live weight gain, feed intake, feed efficiency; liver, heart, kidney, abdominal fat, caecum, carcass and fur weights, caecum pH, carcass quality parameters which were taken from right hindleg, back and waist areas of rabbits and blood serum urea, total protein, cholesterol and creatinin values were investigated. In the trial, 36 rabbits (18 male and 18 female) of each breed were fed by three replicate in each of three diets using randomized block design in factorial experiments. According to results; rabbits were fed for 6 weeks feeding period using low protein diets supplemented with 1.4 % urea. Live weight, feed intake, feed efficiency and feed cost and other criterias which were examined were not statistically significant but some organ weights blood parameters and carcass compositions are statistically differed according to breeds and diets (P<0.05).Item Effects of Clinoptilolite on the Digestibility of Nutrients and Relative Organ Weights in Rat Diets(Ankara Üniversitesi, 2018-09-05) Demirel, Ramazan; Baran, Murat Sedat; Demirel, Dilek Şentürk; Ketani, Aydın; Yokuş, Beran; Dil ve Tarih-Coğrafya FakültesiThis study was conducted to compare the effects of dietary clinoptilolite on nutrient digestibility and relative organ weights in rats. In this study, 24 adult male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 4 groups with 3 replicates, according to a randomized split plots design. In addition to a control group (0% clinoptilolit), 3 levels of clinoptilolite (2%, 4%, and 6%) were used in the diets, and the rats were fed (individually in cages) these diets for 56 days. Statistically significant differences were found among the groups for the digestibility rates of nutrients (P<0.05), except for crude fibre (CF) and acid detergent fibre (ADF). The addition of clinoptilolite in rats’ feeds reduced the digestibility of crude fibre, crude ash (CA), neutral detergent fibre (NDF) and acid detergent fibre (ADF), but increased the digestibility of other nutrients. Slaughter live, organs (liver, kidney, heart, and stomach) and relative organ weights were not affected significantly by the clinoptilolite contents (P>0.05). In conclusion, clinoptilolites can be used in animal feed as natural toxin binders when stored under suitable conditions.
