dc.description.abstractActing from the problem that instructional technology of computer instruction course has not been realised in accordance with the peculiorities that instructors who will take role in computer assisted instruction should have and has been executed with different content and applications, the research had been performed inorder to bring up instructional technology of this course as a frame. The research had been performed through survey of literature and guestionnoire technigue which take place in the scope of survey of model. In the first phase the literature had been searched and data related with the subject had been obtained and then with the help of these data scope and contend of Computer Instruction take place in teacher training programmes of foreign contries and teacher training on Computer Assisted Instruction in Turkey had been handled. In the second phose, first of all educational function of the field was put forward through literature searching technique in order to set up the instruction technique of the course. Considering its place in training programmes, its relationship with other disciplines and elements of instructional technology such as aim, student monpowes, ambience, method and technique, learning couditions, theoretical principles, evalation elements; a questionnaire from had been prepared through developing total 58 prepositions in order to identifiy the existing situation and to bring up the way it should be. The last form of the questionnaire was obtained through evaluation and assesment and through examination by experts from point of Turkish. The prepared guestionnaire had been applied to 53 instroctors who are working in AU, GU, HU, METU in Ankara, to 32 formator teachers who attended to CAI formator teacher course, to 1st evolution course and 2nd evolution course in 1995 and who work in center of Ankara and to 124 students who had been selected randomly among the students studying at the above mentioned universities and attending to Computer Instruction. The answers given to the questionnaire had been analysed through statistical techniques such as mathematical average (x), related t test, variance analysis (F) and the least sichnificant differences (LSD). The obtained findings had been interpreted according to the aim. When the findings which were obtained at the end of analysis had been examined it was idendified that Computer Instruction course, with its current structure, has not been performed in parallel with the propositions developed according to the elements of instruction technology. How ever, it was decided that instruction technology of the course should be realised in accordance with the propositions other than "increasing the ability to control learning", "Teaching one of the programming languages through giving the programming mentality", "developing instructional software and transferring it to computer", "identifying computer defects", "repairing computer defects" and "student should reach the information source with the help of instructor" which take piece under method and technique element.tr_TR
