Abstract

In this research, education and recruitment policies about the handicapped in Turkey and EU has been investigated. Legal regulations of Turkey and EU has been analysed and statistical data about education and recruitment of the handicapped in Turkey, together with the opinions of the managerials and educators are presented in a complete perspective. The research has been conducted in a ?descriptive? screening model, interview method has been applied among document analysis and qualitative research methods. Data gathered are presented in a systematic way linear to the accessibility, authentication, understanding and analysis of the documents. As a result of the research, the facilities and inadequasies about the education and recruitment of the handicapped in Turkey during the accession into EU are intended to be determined.
