Abstract
We try to with our thesis which called of "Geograpy Names in the Kültepe texts and the Location and Its to be gotten Knowledge in the about outher Direction", to determine written in oldest documents, to bring up the historical geography of Anatolia in that period and this geography names by comperation Hitit age and clasik periods, in that areas and also still live geography names and it's culturel continious with consider. It seems that especialy Anatolia high lands have most intensively urban settlements at which Assyrians constructed trading centres called kârum and wabartum, of which Kültepe-Kanis is the most important in 1950-1750 B.C. The result of this intensive trading affairs Anatolia came accross with cuneiform inscriptions and thanks to that Mezopotamia and Anatolia cultures have close contacts. We tried to put together the geography names which allready announcet at the "Die Orts- und Gewassernamen der altassyrische Zeit" book, published 1991 by Kh. Nashef and other books and articles which published after that book and the geography names the unpublished documents. Among 300 settlement names occured at the Kültepe documents which are more than 25.000 at the present, only several settlement names such as Kültepe-Kanis, Boğazköy-Hattusas and Alisar-Amkuwa in Anatolia and one of two names in Mesopotamia could be known with their modern locations. The settlements of this subject matter lie under the mounts called "Höyük" or 'Tell", which are some 35 m high and all most 100-300 m in diameter in Anatolian high lands. We tried to find out this old settlements writh the help of philological study and to thanks to that help archeogical resarch As a result of, in this period called Assyrian Treading Colonian Period it is certain that centrel Anatolian has intensive urbanization and thise centres have intensive treading contacts to each other.
