Abstract
With this thesis, the perspective of Europe Union about the lifelong learning was tried to be scrutinized. The explanations included in the official documents and signed treaties also reports were revised. Thus the perspective of Union was tried to be revealed. Within this context, perspectives of international organizations such as, OECD, WB, WTO which work hand in hand with the Union and have similar policies about lifelong learning were investigated. Thus the topic was tried to be handled in integrity. In order to achieve this goal the effects of globalization process over lifelong learning was researched. For historical framework of the term its first occuration and its usage today and also the main goals in the future were scrutinized in the view of the Union at first.As a research model documentary scanning method was applied. Since the purpose was to analyze EU approaches about lifelong learning term and the policies of EU, the study was completed by applying document research method.It was concluded that EU lifelong policies were in the accompliance with the globalization process and were the instruments of raising human prototypes that market economy needs.
