Abstract
Within the scope of our thesis, the knapped stone industry elements which are obtained from the layers of III and IV of Ege Gübre Settlement were studied. The technological analysis of knapped stone pieces that consist of totally 1890 end products, 179 cores and 734 tools have been done by us, found from above mentioned layers. The analyses on 1890 end products, and 179 cores from the layers III and IV, dated to the late Neolithic period were concluded. Pyramidal and amorphous cores are rich in number among the cores. There are 724 macroliths and 10 microliths found in the IIIrd and IVth layers. From the IIIrd and IVth layers microliths consist of retouched bladelets. The macro tools with their sub-types such as retouched blade, retouch flake and end scraper are remarkable taken the whole macroliths into account.
